Nokia is soon to propose a new firmware upgrade for its smartphone owners of the Lumia 800 Windows Phone. This new frmware will triple the battery life.
As of this week, owners of a Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone who subscribe to Vodafone and are living in Singapore can benefit from a firmware 1600.2487.8107.12070, as part of a validation test.
And according to the first user feedback, the battery life can, in the best case, be multiplied by three. This is due to better management of the display brightness and power consumption.
It’s not the first update to this effect. Two others have been published recently by Nokia. The first optimized the energy consumption, while the second increased the battery capacity from 1300 to 1450 mAh.
Now you will have to wait until the new firmware is fully validated to see it on your phone!
